It's an anime about 化(ば)け物(もの)and in this particular arc, it's about a ねこばけです。There's a lot of suspense and you don't get what's happening until the very end. And the artwork is really special.

Anyway, those are the pictures I took during orientation. Didn't expect them to turn out so well, guess I must really have an artistic streak I wasn't aware of (おほほほ) ^_^''' (<--おもじ)

Talking about おもじ, here are some really cute ones:

>.< (embarrassed... I guess)
>///< (majorly embarrassed)
o.O (weirded out, alternately: O.o)
^,...,^ (vampiric smile)
T-T (crying)

But rather than using just symbols, I find pictorial emocons sometimes convey the message better. Here are some examples:

(Depressed... I guess)

Entry 1

As this blog has been stupidly deleted by me before, this is a あたらしいポストです。

Anyway, I wanted to learn Japanese because I want to read manga and watch anime without relying on translations, which takes a really long time (1 day late is really long, I'm not kidding). I was a huge anime fan a few years ago (what happened...) but I am still a potential あにめおたく (potential lurking just beneath the surface). Somehow when I think back, my favorite anime is this one that deals with spirits: I could never get over the fact that it has ended.
